Costa e Tavares Paes Advogados – CTP Advogados – has provided legal services to Systra S.A. in the acquisition of most of the share capital of Tectran Técnicos em Transportes Ltda., a Brazilian company headquartered in Belo Horizonte (MG).
Tectran is specialized in transportation engineering and has an important market share. The company, created more than two decades ago, renders services to federal, state and municipal authorities, as well as to private entities in Brazil and in other Latin American countries. The company has Mr. Silvestre de Andrade Puty Filho and Mr. Eduardo Cândido Coelho as shareholders, who are known professionals in the area of urban transportation. Mr. Puty Filho and Mr Coelho shall remain as minority shareholders of Tectran, and shall be part of the company’s management team.
The deal has also involved the acquisition of the control of entities affiliated to Tectran by Systra Brasil, and assured that the main officers shall remain in their current positions.
