We have become aware that criminals are posing as our firm’s employees or lawyers, even using our law firm’s logo and corporate name, in an attempt to carry out scams.
The criminals make contact by sending WhatsApp messages, e-mails or telephone calls. They ask the client to get in touch and request payment of sums, on the grounds of releasing court sums, legal fees or settlements, and so on.
We warn our clients that our firm does not request payments without prior written communication and the issue of the necessary documents.
If you receive any contact from a person claiming to be from Costa Tavares Paes Advogados and/or requesting any information and/or payment on behalf of Costa Tavares Paes Advogados, please contact us using the official contact details normally used and provided to clients.
